WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE COURSE?
From 4 up to 7 days
From a Fast up to a Normal Progress
WHO CAN JOIN THE COURSE?
(prerequisites)
- Any ambitious candidate willing to operate single pilot multi engine aeroplanes under VFR in VMC only.
- Hold at least a PPL (A)
- Have Completed at least seventy (70) flight hours as a Pilot In Command (PIC) of airplanes.
WHEN CAN I START MY TRAINING?
Any time!
FSTC EUROPE may start a MEP Course any time is convenient to the candidate. Group training is much more efficient than the individual.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE TRAINING?
Theoretical Training
8 hours of MEP (IN-HOUSE / INSTRUCTOR-LED) covering:
- Airplane General Knowledge, Structure and Equipment
- Normal Operation of Systems and Malfunctions
- Limitations
- Performance
- Flight Planning and Monitoring
- Mass and Balance
- Special requirements for “Glass Cockpit” airplanes
Practical Training
- 2.5 hr (aircraft) – Basic visual manoeuvres
- 3.5 hr (aircraft) – Emergencies & Asymmetric Flight
Skill Test
1 hour – Skill Test Flight with a HCAA Qualified CRE (Class Rating Examiner)

The MEP (A) you receive at FSTC EUROPE is an EASA approved rating, recognised by the most Civil Aviation Authorities worldwide.
