B2 - ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS FΙTΤED TO ALL AIRCRAFTS

THE LICENCE YOU WILL GET:

B2 Electronic systems fitted to all aircraft.
If you are more electronically orientated and decide that you would like to be an Avionics Engineer specialising in scheduled maintenance, restoration and modification of communication, navigation, radar equipment; guidance and control systems including auto-pilot/auto-land and cabin entertainment then this license is the one to choose.

RATINGS TO BE ENDORSED:

Any Aeroplane or Helicopter Type that you have trained for.

WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE COURSE?

24 months (2458 hours)

WHO CAN JOIN THE COURSE?

(prerequisites)

  • Any ambitious candidate willing to be an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and act as a Professional for Airlines, Corporate Business Operators or Private Aircrafts receiving salary.
  • Be 18 years old by the time you apply for your Basic License. (Minimum age to start the course is 16 years old but you cannot apply for your Basic License until you have completed the 18th year)
  • Has a basic English knowledge (Speaks and Writes fluently to start the Course. English lessons are provided if needed before the beginning of the course)

WHEN CAN I START MY TRAINING?

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE TRAINING?

Theoretical Training
1372 hours (IN-HOUSE / INSTRUCTOR-LED) on the following modules:

 

  • Module 1. Mathematics (Part-66)
  • Module 2. Physics (Part-66)
  • Module 3. Electrical fundamentals (Part-66)
  • Module 4. Electronic fundamentals (Part-66)
  • Module 5. Digital Techniques Electronic Instrument Systems (Part-66)
  • Module 6. Materials and Hardware (Part-66)
  • Module 7. Maintenance Practices (Part-66)
  • Module 8. Basic Aerodynamics (Part-66)
  • Module 9. Human Factors (Part-66)
  • Module 10. Aviation Legislation (Part-66)
  • MODULE 13. Aircraft Aerodynamics, Structures and Systems (Part-66)
  • MODULE 14. Propulsion (Part-66)
Practical Training

1086 hours of training including Workshop Practices and Aircraft Maintenance related on the following modules:

  • Module 7. Maintenance Practices (Part-66)
  • MODULE 13. Aircraft Aerodynamics, Structures and Systems (Part-66)
  • MODULE 14. Propulsion (Part-66)

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AS A HOLDER OF THIS LICENCE?

  • The Certificate of Recognition you receive by FSTC EUROPE is EASA approved, recognised by all EASA Civil Aviation Authorities and PART-145 (Maintenance Organisation).
  • The holder can apply for a job immediately as a B2 support Maintenance Staff at any Maintenance Organisation.
  • Continue his studies to a University for a degree in Aviation Engineering.
  • After 2 years of working experience, as support Staff, you can apply to any EASA Civil Aviation Authority for your Aircraft Maintenance License.
