Flight Dispatchers

If you are considering a career as a Flight Dispatcher, FSTC Europe will provide you with the required training.
The duties of a Flight Dispatcher is to responsibly plan an aircraft’s flight path, taking into consideration the performance and load of the aircraft, weather conditions, fuel requirements as well as possible risks. The Flight Dispatcher also has the authority to delay or even cancel flights to ensure the safety of each flight.

Flight Dispatcher course Entry requirements

  • Be At least 20 years old
  • Very good knowledge of the English language.
  • Good knowledge of basic Mathematics and Physics.
  • Previous experience is not required. Prior knowledge of the course’s fundamentals is an advantage.

Training Syllabus

Theoretical knowledge

Theoretical knowledge instruction that meets the requirements of ICAO and covers topics of the ATPL theory, provided by experienced instructors (flight dispatchers and subject matter experts).Total of 285 Hours / 8 Weeks for trainees without previous aviation and 169 Hours / 6 weeks if credited for aviation background.

Practical Training

FSTC EUROPE in cooperation with aircraft operators provides 28 Hours (4 days) practical training after the end of the theoretical lessons where the trainees under the supervision of flight dispatcher instructors are getting realistic on job training.

Successful completion of the course will provide Certification Of Completion that meets the International Civil Aviation Standards.
Approved training course by EASA ATO like FSTC EUROPE is what will be a strong asset in you CV if applying for LICENSE in ICAO member states.

WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE COURSE?

WHO CAN JOIN THE COURSE?

(prerequisites)

  • Any ambitious candidate willing to be a Commercial Pilot and fly as a Professional for Airlines, Corporate Business Operators or Privet Aircrafts receiving salary.

  • Be 18 years old by the time you take your final Check Ride.
    (Minimum age to start the course is 16 years old but you cannot take the final check for your CPL (A) until you have completed the 18th year)

  • Have an outstanding English knowledge.
    (Speak and Write fluently to start the Course. During the course must be achieved a minimum level 4 of ELP)

  • Pass successfully the Aviation Medical Exams

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE TRAINING?

  • Theoretical Training

100 hours of PPL Theory (IN-HOUSE / INSTRUCTOR-LED) on the following topics:

– Principles of Flight (POF)

– Aircraft General Knowledge (AGK)

– Communications (COM)

– Mass and Balance (MBL)

– Instruments (INS)

– Meteorology (MET)

– General Navigation (NAV)

– Radio Navigation (RNAV)

– Human Factors (HF)

– Air Law (AL)

– Operational Procedure (OPS)

– Performance (PERF)

– Flight Planning and Monitoring (FP)

30 hours of Flight Phase preparation

Practical Training

65 hours flight training including Aircraft and FNPT II on the following flight phases:

 

  • CONTACT
    24,5 hr(aircraft), plus 10,0 hr FNPT II including:
  • Contact Advance Manoeuvres
  • Basic Instruments

– VFR NAVIGATION – VFR CROSS COUNTRY
23 hr(aircraft) plus 7,5 hr FNPT II including:

  • 150NM X/C
  • OUT & BACK

All our aircraft fleet is equipped with Glass Cockpit / EFIS, Autopilot, ADS B-OUT, PBN Capabilities, Jeppesen Electronic Charts, giving the training you absolutely need for your Aviation Career.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AS A HOLDER OF THIS LICENCE?

The PPL (A) you receive at FSTC EUROPE is an EASA approved Licence, recognised by the most Civil Aviation Authorities worldwide.

The holder can:

  • Fly for fun. You may own or rent an aircraft (endorsed in your licence) and fly for your own, unrestricted.
  • Start an “HOUR BUILT UP” program in order to:

– Continue for Instrument Rating – IR (A)
– Continue for Commercial Pilot Licence – CPL (A)
– Endorse Night Rating (NR)
– Endorse Multi Engine Piston – MEP/IR (land)
– Endorse Multi Crew Cooperation – MCC
