To ensure proficiency, all cabin crew members should attend regular recurrent training sessions in order to maintain their abilities, proficiency and skills in normal and emergency situations.

WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE COURSE?

From 2 up to 3 days

WHO CAN JOIN THE COURSE?

(prerequisites)

Applicants holding an MCC Certificate completed on a piston or turboprop aircraft class/type without prior Jet Engine experience, wishing to combine the JOT with initial type rating course on EMB135/145.

WHEN CAN I START MY TRAINING?

Any time!
FSTC Europe starts the EMB-135/145 any time is convenient for the Trainee Pilot. A group (of at least 2 pilots) training is much more efficient than one only individual. Pre-arrangement is required.

Jet Orientation Training

Theoretical Training

8 hours of the Jet Orientation Theory (IN-HOUSE / INSTRUCTOR-LED) on the following topic:

  • Glass Cockpit Displays
  • Propulsion
  • Aerodynamics
  • Flight Controls
  • Performance
  • Jet Flight Planning
  • Weight and Balance
  • Basic Jet Flying
  • Pilot Techniques for Jet Flying, Advanced Handling Skills Development
  • Flight Path Management

  • Introduction into Prevention and Recovery of Upsets


Practical Training

2 hours flight training on Full Flight Simulator (FFS) LVL D as following:

  • JET FAMILIARIZATION FLIGHT (1 session)

 

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AS A HOLDER OF THIS LICENCE?

  • As a holder of the Jet Orientation Course (JOC) certificate, you can expect to be far better prepared for:
    • Jet performance management (speed, energy, descent planning)
    • High-speed approach and landing techniques
    • Jet-specific climb/descent profiles
    • Simulator-based jet handling

  • This course significantly bridges the operational gap between flying smaller piston aircraft and complex jet airliners.
