FSTC Europe is able to provide EASA Part - 66 Basic Courses and type Ratings for Aircraft Mechanics.

Being a Licensed Mechanic is a highly skilled and responsible job, and it takes two years of theoretical studies and two more years of practical experience in a maintenance organisation, in order to be eligible for obtaining the licence. Even this is just the beginning for most Licensed Mechanics, who does more study, gains more experience toward specialising in aircraft types and therefore is most likely to work at such a position.

Training courses can start any time, but candidates cannot apply for a license until the age of 18. Training includes both theoretical and practical parts, followed by examinations and practical assessments.

The candidates must be able to read, write and communicate to an understandable level in  English language in which almost all the technical documentation and procedures necessary to support the issue of the certificate of release to service are written.

 

EASA Part-66 Training B1

A category B1 aircraft maintenance license permits the holder to issue certificates of release to service following any scheduled and unscheduled maintenance (line, base, modifications) and defect rectification tasks performed on aircraft structure, power plant, mechanical, electrical, limited on avionic systems.

The B2 course is required for a candidate who decides to follow and attend the course which will provide him/her with technical knowledge in avionics skills. A category B2 maintenance license permits the holder to issue certificates of release to service following any scheduled and unscheduled maintenance (line, base, modifications) and defect rectification tasks performed on aircraft avionics systems.
